What’s New in K-Analytics: Introducing
K-Analytics Excel workstream
Type: Excel Workbook
Aim: To help
participants work their analytic skill to remembrance by giving them a wide
range of data problem covering the key concepts learnt in the course. Solving
this workstream every now and then keeps your analytic mind sharp; even if you
are not an active data analyst. The idea is ------ always go back and solve
from scratch again and again. Analytics is a skill and a skill is in action not
in words. You leave it, it leaves you.

OUR PROGRAM GOAL
To train participants in Data Analysis for Business Decision from 3 perspective. Our goal is to give participants the bird's eye view of Analytic tools at their disposal and guide their career choice in data analytics by helping them discover the tool that fits their personality.
The 3 Perspective:
1. Spread Sheet:
Participants are taught the world's No.1 spreadsheet software; Microsoft Excel to advance proficiency.
Over 45+ strategic Microsoft Excel functions (V-LOOKUP, H-LOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMPRODUCT, IFERROR, IFNA, VALUE(), TEXT(), DATE(), IF, SUMIFS, AVERAGEIFS, MAX, MIN, COUNTA, Aggregate / Array functions etc.) would be mastered from scratch plus techniques, pivot tables etc.
2. Business Intelligence tool (Power BI):
Participants would learn how to create insightful visualization with Power BI; one of the leading business intelligence tool for visual analytics / visualization and for creating management solutions.
3. Programming Language (R programming)
Here we show how simple programming or coding is. Participants learn how to analyze data using programming language and appreciate how much faster data analysis with programming compared to spreadsheets. In the session we learn the language of Data Science, R programming language.
PROGRAM / PLAN:
PRE-TRAINING (to be completed before training date)
ALL participants are expected to watch the pre-training video before the training. The goal of this video is to take out the rudiment as we have a lot to learn in the program. The Video covers Introduction to Business Analytics and teaches Microsoft Excel from scratch covering our first nine (9) functions (very great for participants who have never used Excel before or are not proficient with it). The videos are snippets from our ExcelQuickStart program.
